A story can be ten words or ten thousand words, but all good stories serve to open up a door to a place or a feeling, and invite the audience to walk through. Good design is no different. Design isn’t just making things look good. Design is communication – the art of conveying complex ideas and concepts efficiently and effectively. In today’s high-speed world, good design is more important than ever.
I grew up surrounded by technology, and have always been excited by the creative power of computers. From creating interactive stories in Microsoft Powerpoint at age six, to programming in BASIC and Pascal at eight, to creating point & click adventure games at fourteen – I’ve always been happiest when expressing myself, and have always seen technology as the ideal tool for achieving this.
Over the last several years, I’ve been lucky enough to work in a wide variety of creative disciplines, including games, journalism, web design, VFX, VR, branding & identity, illustration, photography, filmography, and more. I’ve even had my work displayed at the V&A in London, and archived by National Library of France.
